That Little Girl Inside Of Me
That little girl inside of me
It might be time to set her free.
But ‘twill not be done so easily
For she is such a part of me.
That little girl, so sad, bereft, alone.
Thoughts of her are all I’ve known.
My heart’s been heavy, as if ‘twere stone.
I sense her standing, up on her toes,
Peeking out in ribbons and bows.
So I guess I’ll free her, since she knows.
It’s time, my girl—myself, to fly.
To reach on upward, oh so high.
And let go the past, with just a sigh.
To the sky, my girl—myself, go fly.

Fly high my heart friend. The sky's the limit! I love this and I love you.
